Ubuntu 11.04 Works Now
My main disappointment with Ubuntu 11.04 has been resolved. The latest round of updates has fixed the issues with my video card not being supported. I no longer have black bars everywhere where menus should be. I can actually see the Unity menu and use the computer:

Is Unity Menu the dock-like thing on the left?
ReplyDeleteYeah, instead of the GNOME menu at the top or a dock at the bottom, the dock on the left is the Unity menu. It's still a little weird to get used to it since I love the GNOME menu style, but I think it's growing on me.
